Pilomatricoma: another differential in the diagnosis of the soft tissue swellings of the ear lobule

Abstract
Pilomatricoma is a benign skin tumor derived from the hair matrix. We present a case of 40 years female who presented to the outpatient department with history of swelling in the left ear lobule for the last 2 years. Pre-operative diagnosis of dermoid cyst was kept. The swelling was excised and sent for histo pathological examination, which came out as Pilomatricoma.
