Today, millions of women are surviving breast cancer. It is a malignant tumor that starts in the cells of the breast. It can grow into (invade) surrounding tissues or spread (metastasize) to distant areas of the body. No one exactly knows why some women get breast cancer; there are a number of risk factors. But estrogen was found to be the main curse responsible for this. Thus in order to cure breast cancer it is important to know the physiology of estrogen.
