Abstract
The main objective of the study is to To study the extent of infant mortality in the study population. To assess the influence of various factors related to the mortality among infants. Access the knowledge, attitude and practices of mothers on availability and utilization of maternal and child health care services in the study area, Recommend remedial measures for reduction of infant mortality, in the coastal villages.
