Abstract

Third-molar agenesis with respect to race, sex, number of missing third molars, malocclusion patterns and jaw dimensions is a topic of special interest to paleoanthropologists and to the orthodontists.  The present paper is to study the prevalence of third molar agenesis in an orthodontic patient population with skeletal class II pattern.
